Sandy Run is in its 253rd year of worship. We gather to worship a living Lord who has extended to us salvation through His love by dying on a cross and rising again to pay our debt for sin.

Due to the consruction of a new bridge on US 74 there is a detour in effect. The posted detours can be a bit confusing. We suggest the following easy path to Sandy Run:
From Shelby...proceed past the construction zone (about 2 miles) and take exit 189 (Hwy 120) turn right and right again on Business 74. Travel about 1 mile and turn right on Main Street (in front of Deb's Mini Mart). Turn right on Academy Street (at the Post Office) and left on East Church St. Sandy Run is 1/8 mile on the right.

Area children arrive by our church bus at 6:00 PM and are served a meal at no cost to them. Adults give a small donation for their meal. Kids then attend entertaining Bible classes grouped by age while adults attend a brief prayer meeting and Bible study. (Current study series: Genesis.)
